Family Class Visa

STporches Immigration Services specializes in facilitating Family Class Canadian Visa applications, prioritizing the reunification of families, and making it one of the cornerstones of our services.
Within Canadian immigration policy, sponsoring family members for Canadian permanent residency is a significant avenue for citizens and permanent residents aged 18 and above residing in Canada to be able to sponsor their family members. As sponsors, our clients commit to providing support for their sponsored family members and accompanying relatives for a defined period, either three years or ten years, depending on the specifics of the sponsorship application.
Our sponsorship services extend to various eligible family members, including:
  • Any other relative, regardless of age or relationship, in the absence of the aforementioned family members either in Canada or abroad.
  • Spouses, common-law partners, or conjugal partners.
  • Dependent children, including adopted children.
  • Orphaned brothers or sisters, nephews or nieces, granddaughters or grandsons under 18 years of age and not in a marital or common-law relationship.
Any other relative, regardless of age or relationship, in the absence of the aforementioned family members either in Canada or abroad.
At STporches, we are dedicated to simplifying the Family Class Canadian Visa process for our clients, ensuring seamless reunification with their loved ones in Canada.

Spouses, Common-Law Partners, and Conjugal Partners

If you are legally married to a Canadian citizen or permanent resident or have been in a committed relationship with a Canadian citizen or permanent resident for at least 12 months, you may be eligible to apply for Canadian permanent residency with sponsorship from your spouse or partner.

Parents and Grandparents

Canadian citizens and permanent residents have the opportunity to sponsor their parents and/or grandparents. Sponsors must demonstrate that their total income meets the requirements set by the Canadian government. They must also prove they have sufficient funds to support themselves, their immediate family members residing in Canada, and the family members they wish to sponsor. The Low Income Cut-Off (LICO) rules apply here.
Sponsors must meet the minimum income requirements for three consecutive tax years before submitting the sponsorship application. They may include the income of their spouse or common-law partner if necessary.

Super Visa

A Super Visa is an option for parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens or permanent residents. This temporary visa allows the applicant to stay in Canada as a visitor for up to two years.
The Canadian citizen or permanent resident in Canada must provide a letter of support and a written commitment of financial assistance, meeting the minimum income threshold set by the Canadian government.
Applicants must obtain Canadian medical insurance for at least 12 months and undergo a medical examination as part of the visa application process.
